Force offered a range of outboard marine engines covering various power outputs for boating needs. The company built 50 horsepower versions of these motors from 1995 through 1999.

Engine Design

The Force 50 hp outboard relied on a two-cylinder, two-stroke powerplant. To link the shaft with the propeller hub, the engine employed 13 splines.

Operating Parameters

At wide open throttle, these Force 50 hp outboards operated between a minimum of 4,750 rpm and a maximum of 5,250 rpm. The engine's gear ratio was measured at 2-to-1.

Propeller Options

Force 50 hp outboard engines came with three-blade, C-style propellers. For a target speed range of 17 to 20 mph, the suggested propeller had a 12.25-inch diameter and a nine-degree pitch. When the goal was 32 to 38 mph, the recommended propeller measured 11.75 inches in diameter with a pitch of 17 degrees.
